My passion as a young interior designer started from the beginning, and I was always driven to learn more about this field by working locally and internationally.
In the beginning, I worked in several design companies in the local area that did not follow professional design practices. With such a crowded interior design market and very high levels of competition, it is not easy for me to find professionals. Most of the work was almost commercial. That caused me to lose some time, realizing I was not on the right path.
In my decision to quit these jobs, I decided to become a successful designer. I started learning everything from the beginning and attempted to enter the professional community of designers in Egypt and abroad.
I focused a great deal of my time on myself by attending all of the design shows, exhibitions, and design talks, expanding my community of designers, submitting to competitions, working as a freelancer, and updating my portfolio constantly.
This led me to gain a lot of offers from companies, and as a freelancer, it was my natural step into this wide and crowded field.
I let myself learn from every single experience I faced in order to gain real knowledge about the field. I was seeing my weaknesses and trying all the time to overcome them, not forgetting my strengths, and consistently trying to focus on and improve.
I can say that I have reached the level I want, but I’m on the way to learning, engaging, and focusing.
